So, it has been a year since I wrote a journal. I am now on my third year living in Japan, working as an Assistant Language Teacher. I am about ready for this year to be over, and have been researching grad schools over the past few days. I have settled on UC in Christchurch, UO in Dunedin and WWU in Washington state. I really want to return to New Zealand to get my degree, but we'll see what happens. Until then, I've been watching my tv shows, hanging out on tumblr, and playing through the Bioshock trilogy for the second time in a week.

Well, I wrote this journal entry once and I'm a little upset that it disappeared on me and I'm writing it again... Blarg... Anywho.... I was contacted by an old art teacher who asked me for some of my latest work (all of which has been my adorable nieces and nephews). Since I didn't want to send out drawings of my 10 and under family members, I dug up an old picture I did of my sister drinking while she was living abroad. I messed with it a little bit but wasn't happy with the quality of the already present shading and wanted to start from scratch.
